Training & Volunteer Coordinator – 22.5 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced trainer to lead the development and delivery of Birchall’s internal and external education, training and consultancy offer in Cumbria and Lancashire, establishing the Charity as a respected provider of training and consultancy in our specialist field.

The post can be based in either Barrow in Furness or Morecambe with the potentially for home working as required.

This new initiative is an important part of our sustainability strategy. Income generated through the delivery of training and consultancy will be reinvested into our core work.

Birchall is faced with unprecedented demand for its services and is embarking on an ambitious three-year strategic development plan following consultation with the people we have helped.

We have recently conducted a skills review within our current Board membership and have established that we are specifically looking for new Trustees with expertise in one of the following areas:

· Human Resources

· Fundraising

· Business Management

· Marketing and social media
