Senior Practitioner

We’re looking for an  experienced Practitioner with a background in either therapy/counselling, health and wellbeing services, or social work with additional experience of managing a diverse team, supporting people who have experienced trauma to reach their potential  to join our team.

 

 

Based in either Barrow, Lancaster, or Morecambe. Travel will be required between sites across South Cumbria and Lancashire.

Service Development Coordinator

As Service Development Coordinator, you will have lead responsibility in

co ordinating projects that ensure that Birchall continues to develop its services to meet the needs of people who have experienced rape and sexual abuse across Cumbria and Lancashire.
Bringing together staff, stakeholders, volunteers and people with lived experience to create collaborative environments you will combine strong organisational skills with a proactive mindset able to plan projects to ensure they run smoothly from start to finish.

Based in either Barrow, Lancaster. Travel will be required between sites across South Cumbria and Lancashire.

Trustees

We are looking to recruit new Trustees to help us delivery our new exciting strategy.

 

We thrive on difference - sadly rape and sexual abuse affects everyone in all of communities - as a Trustee Board we want to reflect all those individual characteristics and life experiences so that we can respond most sensitively to the needs of everyone who uses or would like to use our services.

Freelance Trainer

This is an exciting new role here at Birchall to support the delivery of training to external professionals to raise awareness of the specific needs of people who experience rape, sexual abuse, sexualised violence and exploitation. The work will be focussed on delivering high quality training sessions and workshops both in person across Cumbria and Lancashire and virtually.

Wellbeing Practitioner

We’re looking for a Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team and support people to reach their potential, while delivering a trauma-informed wellbeing service.

Community Engagement & Fundraising Volunteer

We are seeking a passionate and creative  Community Engagement and Fundraising Volunteer to help to raise awareness and funds needed to engage and support people affected by rape, sexual violence, abuse and sexual exploitation. 

 

We want to put the “fun” back into fundraising as well as engaging new sections of the community and supporters in the community.

Freelance

Children & Young Persons Therapist 

In Preston and the surrounding areas we are looking for an experienced Children & Young Person’s Therapist, to provide specialist support, counselling, and therapy to children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse, rape or sexualised violence.

Administration Volunteer

In our Barrow and Lancaster office we are looking for a reliable and compassionate administrator to assist with general office tasks, including data entry, filing, scheduling, and correspondence. You’ll help manage appointments through our triage system and ensure records are accurate and confidential. Strong organisation and professional, empathetic communication are essential..
