Chair
Paula Cook
Paula is a local GP and also works in one of our hospitals. She made a career change to medicine after a successful corporate career in Human Resources.
She is passionate about helping people who have suffered any form of abuse or trauma to navigate their own journey to achieve the best health and well being they can.
Trustee
Liz Taylor
Liz has been a trustee for the last 3 years. She worked as a psychiatrist for over 30 years and had a particular interest in severe and enduring mental health conditions. She became involved with the charity after a family member received support.
Trustee
Jenna Brown
Jenna is originally from the local area and became a trustee 2 years ago after relocating back to the South Lakes. She has a BA Hons in Criminology and Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice in which she specialised in sexual violence. She is an accredited mediator.
Trustee
Catherine McIntyre
Catherine is a grant maker and project manager, currently Continuous Improvement Lead for BBC Children in Need. She lives in Lancashire and is a mum to two boys and a school governor.
She has interests in counselling and in how best to support children and young people to thrive.
Treasurer
Simon Hanson
