Parent & Carer Group (8 week programme, meeting every Wednesday)

This is an 8-week educational series of workshops aiming to explore the impact of trauma on your child, yourself and your family. This weekly group will focus on different aspects of learning each time, while also providing a safe space for making connections and lasting bonds with other parents and carers over a cup of tea and a biscuit too!

The topics we will be covering are:

• Reacting to disclosure, identifying abuse and Active Listening

• The impact of trauma on my child and my family

• The grooming process and learning to trust

• Common reactions, behaviours and symptoms of abuse, and how to deal with these. Our Stories
