Men's Group

Introducing our Men's Group facilitated by Lee. This is a weekly group on a Wednesday afternoon in Morecambe, 2.30pm-3.30pm. The group is open to men aged 18+ who are survivors of sexual abuse. 

This group is to support male survivors of sexual abuse and to provide a forum to explore thoughts, feelings and behaviours stemming from the abuse. As a group, we will discuss different coping strategies to deal with difficult emotions/thoughts/behaviours.

Members of the group can support one another through sharing of experiences. Taking part in any conversations is completely optional and there is no pressure to share anything personal.

The group will also be psycho-educational and the facilitator, Lee, will provide psycho-educational learning and exploration around trauma and its effect on the brain/person.
